The UCL Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education launched in April 2022. Its mission is to transform the UK’s approach to teaching climate change and sustainability in schools by providing outstanding, research-informed and free professional development to all teachers and school leaders.

On 9 June, Public First published a report outlining the results of research commissioned by the Centre to inform the early development of its work.
