Description

With child and adolescent mental health services under increasing pressure, schools play a crucial role in identifying and supporting children at risk of, or suffering from mental health problems. As the prevalence of mental health issues among young people continues to rise, it is essential that schools have the knowledge and the capacity to support affected pupils.

This one day course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of responsibilities as a school and ultimately to improve the school’s mental health provision.

Hear from best practice case studies that highlight how schools can overcome the challenges surrounding mental health and promote a positive educational experience. Through interactive sessions and practical workshops, ensure school compliance with the legal duty of care and create a mentally healthy school for pupils, parents and staff.

Confirmed speakers include:
• Ian Macdonald
• Maxine Low
• Jayne Voice
• Adam Friel
