Countdown to Reservations End Date
Event Details
Description
This two day online conference hosted by Education and Employers in partnership with the Edge Foundation, will focus on employer engagement in general education, technical and vocational education and training, and the extent to which such interventions adequately prepare young people for the rapidly changing world of work. In particular, attention will focus on the need to develop and capture the skill requirements within the changing labour market and how such interventions can support young people as part of the response to Covid-19. The conference will also seek to reflect on reforms and policy shifts in relation to education and training and employer engagement internationally.
By going virtual in 2021 the event has become accessible to delegates internationally at the click of a button, allowing for greater participation and engaging networking opportunities with a bigger, broader community of fellow researchers in the education sphere. The conference welcomes researchers, practitioners, employers, awarding organisations and policymakers.
This event will include contributions from keynote speakers, panel debates, research presentations, workshops, and case study presentations. In addition, there will be opportunities for virtual networking with other delegates.
