Description

This webinar will focus on sharing good practice from two projects which were funded by the DfE as part of the College Collaboration fund series. These projects provide details of how their work was developed within their individual colleges and then shared with the wider college sector.

The first project, led by Darren Hankey, Principal of Hartlepool College of Further Education, looks at how embracing a culture of coaching aids the effectiveness of teaching, learning and assessment practice at the college.

The second project, led by Gordon Duffy-McGhie, Director of Teaching and Learning at Middleborough College and Chris Hodgson, a digital learning solutions developer and consultant based in Northeast England, shares good practice in enhancing employability and workplace behaviours in students.

The focus of each project is different but the aim is the same: to share the findings of the individual projects so that others may gain an understanding of how to improve their practice in these areas.

Participants will:
• understand how to improve coaching in participants settings
• understand how to enhance employability and work-based behaviours amongst students
• appreciate the value of these projects for improving practice in participants own settings.

There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other attendees.
