Yet, the sector faces a pivotal challenge: in 2023-24, 40% of higher education providers are thought to be in deficit, underscoring the urgency of financial sustainability.

While we continue to advocate for sustainable higher education funding, we must also look inward. Harnessing the innovation, creativity, and business expertise within and beyond the sector is essential to addressing these challenges head-on.
