Event Details
Description
Join senior leaders and sector experts to explore how universities can navigate reputational risk, engage the public and rebuild trust at a pivotal moment for higher education.
Throughout the day, we’ll explore what drives public and political opinions on universities, and how we can learn from the experiences of universities in the US to change the narrative on universities. We’ll explore how these challenges are unfolding across the UK and internationally, and what we can learn from other sectors facing similar scrutiny.
This one day in-person summit is your opportunity to engage with and help evolve Universities UK’s new reputation strategy - building a shared, actionable approach that supports meaningful change across the sector.
This summit will explore:
• What drives public and political confidence in universities and how to respond – including a keynote from Ted Mitchell, President, American Council on Education (ACE)
• How reputation challenges are playing out across international higher education systems and other sectors
• What Universities UK’s emerging sector-wide reputation strategy looks like and how to activate it at an institutional level
• How to engage priority audiences with authentic narratives and visible impact
• What part you and your institution can play in helping to shape the future of the university sector.
Expect strategic insight, open discussion, and the chance to influence UUK’s work at a time when sector-wide alignment has never been more important.
