Designed to follow on from our intermediate course, this advanced level course builds on that strong learning platform and focuses in greater depth on the key issues, supporting you with building your confidence, reducing resource need and limiting or removing the need for external legal spend.
Running over twelve sessions between October and March, this advance course is led by data protection expert and education lawyer, Dai Durbridge, who has extensive experience advising schools and trusts on all GDPR issues.
Delivered remotely via Zoom, the interactive and engaging course is limited to around 30 delegates per cohort and provides provides eight two-hour learning sessions and four one-hour Q&A sessions for delegates to have their questions answered and issues discussed to ensure a personalised learning experience. Delegates will benefit from a bespoke platform where they can access course materials, including recordings, and can share templates, policies and resources with the network of DPOs in their cohort.

This course is suitable for designated Data Protection Officers within maintained schools, independent schools and academy trust settings.
