Description
This practical in-person workshop is the third in a series of four designed to empower and equip middle leaders in North East schools. Designed as a valuable complement to NPQ content frameworks, these discounted sessions will provide valuable tools, strategies, and insights to help you enhance your leadership skills and make a positive impact in your school community.
Even the most experienced leaders will lack confidence at times and experience what’s known as the ‘imposter syndrome’. While this is very natural, lack of confidence is a mindset and not a reflection of ability, outcomes or success. During this session we will help you to use this insight to build a more confident mindset – enabling you to project authentic confidence and authority when you find yourself in critical situations.
This session will cover:
• Understanding power dynamics and your own personal relationship to power.
• The four sources of confidence and how to leverage your own authentic power to communicate with confidence and assertion.
• Why showing up as your whole self makes you a more effective leader.
The workshops are suitable for phase leaders, heads of department, and anyone aspiring to a senior school leadership role. If you need a boost to help you lead at your best, strengthen your people leadership skills, or to take on a bigger leadership role with increased confidence, then these sessions are for you!
Workshop series:
• Workshop 4 – Developing your coaching skills will take place on Thursday 05 December 2024 (from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
Each workshop will be facilitated by Kerry Lord, BTS Spark leadership consultant and partner for the North East. Kerry is a qualified coach, an experienced facilitator, and an ex-headteacher.
Don't miss this opportunity to grow and develop as a leader!
