Description

This online course is made up of three modules and offers an introduction to the key principles and practices of assessment and feedback.

The course includes all the elements that are necessary to learn how to become a confident and competent assessor in terms of effective planning, the importance of providing constructive feedback to learners and how to effectively review learner progress. The required assessment tasks are straightforward and will enable you to demonstrate that you can put your learning into practice through evidence and evaluation.

Participants who complete this qualification will have a concrete understanding of the following:
• The principles and practices of assessment
• How to assess occupational competence in the work environment
• How to assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.

Following two introductory sessions offering an outline of the programme and its requirements, learning and assessment will be ongoing through our Learning Management System (LMS) where all the resources and assessment materials can be accessed for those on programme. A follow up session is also provided further into your learning, with your assessor offering continuous support throughout your course.

• Tuesday 20 August 2024 (15:00 - 17:00)
• Tuesday 3 September 2024 (15:00 - 17:00)
