In this talk, Dr Will Smith begins by discussing the diverse ways in which education has positively impacted the world, for example, in access, nutrition, peacebuilding, and mobility. He examines how education has affected our social and economic development, both nationally and internationally, drawing upon research from within Moray House to exemplify this.

Professor Sarah McGeown follows with a discussion of the value and importance of research-practice partnerships (RPPs) to bring about positive real-world change. She discusses the benefits and methodological considerations associated with RPPs and the key enablers required to create and sustain environments which better connects research and practice.
