Description

Blended learning is becoming entrenched at universities across the UK. The Office for Students commissioned a blended learning review panel in 2022 that went on to report a series of deficiencies while outlining the profound potential and achievements since 2020. As part of the report, academics stated that blended learning approaches must respond to the evolving needs of students, utilise remote learning effectively while preserving student engagement, and support staff and student wellbeing so that the quality of teaching offered can continue to improve.

• According to Jisc’s 2021/22 digital experience insights survey, 45% of students would prefer a mix of in-person and online learning
• According to the same Jisc report, 74% of respondents rated the quality of their online learning environment as above average
• The same report identified 63% of respondents faced challenges accessing digital resources, assessments and lectures.

Join us at this one day online conference to hear the latest guidance in designing and delivering effective blended learning programmes. Alongside sector-leading keynotes offering the latest updates, innovative case studies will be shared covering crucial topics such as providing staff training for new blended learning resources, meeting the needs of neurodiverse and disadvantaged students, and guidance on planning and evaluating your curriculum design to make the most of available resources.
