Following the government's commitment to invest £2.5bn in the pupil premium to help the most disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap, schools must be able to prove and evidence effective use of the premium to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspection rating. 

This conference will present the best recent case studies of pupil premium use, and help educators to develop an action plan to take back and implement at their school or academy. Delegates will leave the conference with a good understanding of the recent changes to the pupil premium funding for the 2017 financial year; will know how to develop an effective spending plan for the premium; and be able to utilise data to demonstrate success ready for Ofsted.

Speakers include experts from in Special Educational Needs and school leaders with experience of effectively using the premium. The event is hosted Nigel Bishop, a national education trainer and consultant.
