Bringing together expert speakers from government, nursery businesses and academia, this conference will help early years educators to understand the political and economic environment they find themselves in following the 2017 general election.

Delegates will be updated on the progress of the 30 hours programme, the Workforce strategy, and the government’s plans for early years policy, as well as Ofsted’s move to bring early years inspections in-house, along with current and future priorities for inspection. 

Speakers include Liz Roberts, editor of Nursery World; Robert Goodwill MP, minister for children and families; Natalie Perera, executive director of the Education Policy Institute; and Gill Jones, early education deputy director at Ofsted.
