SEND: Improving Outcomes and Raising Attainment
Countdown to Start Date
Event Details
Description
Following the introduction of the Children and Families Act 2014, which aimed to improve the provision for the 13.4% of primary school pupils that have special educational needs, it is now imperative that those delivering primary education to pupils with SEND are aware of the reforms underway, and ensure they are providing the highest possible quality learning and teaching environment for all pupils.
This forum will allow delegates to hear from sector leaders and leading practitioners regarding these recent reforms: they will receive advice through a range of best practice case studies, as well as prominent experts on how the reforms will impact the delivery of SEND provisions. In addition, delegates will have opportunity to engage in discussions around developing and implementing an effective strategy for inclusive learning, teaching and additional support for pupils with SEND.
