Description
The aim of this conference is to provide challenges and professional learning for teachers and other leaders and practitioners across the early years children's workforce, primary schooling, secondary schooling, outdoor learning, youth work, further and higher education. Funded by the University of Cumbria, the event is free to attend and features keynote speeches from educational psychologist Professor Barry Hymer, and Dame Professor Alison Peacock, CEO of the Charted College of Teaching. The event has been set up to launch the Learning Education & Development (LED) Centre at the University of Cumbria, which aims to support practitioners in developing research-informed practice and in publishing high quality research that has an impact on policy and practice.
