This webinar is an ideal opportunity for a refresher on performance management or for those who are new to leading on this area.
The session will take delegates back to the basics of performance management, looking at all relevant legislation, policies and procedures involved including how and when they interlink, and when they shouldn’t.
In this webinar delegates will explore performance management policy, procedure and relevant legislation. This will include the Appraisal Regulations and Equalities Act, and the obligations that these place on employers. Delegates will also learn which policies are related, and how/when they should interlink.
The session will cover how to approach changing circumstances, for example, long-term absence and related equalities considerations, and share good practice on policy formulation and review.
Participants will learn about:
• different approaches/strategies for dealing with difficult conversations
• how to prepare for and lead difficult conversations
• the importance of follow up and feedback.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other attendees.
