This webinar will focus on the importance of conducting and managing a fair internal investigation where complaints and allegations have been made against an employee.
ASCL Cymru's National Officer will be sharing their experience of being involved in employer investigations.
ASCL's in-house Employment Solicitor will also cover:
• gathering and assessing evidence
• carrying out a fair investigation
• understanding the role of an investigator
• presenting findings and the case for dismissal
• the responsibilities of the employer vs the rights of an employee
• referring individuals to the Education Workforce Council.
Participants will:
• understand the do’s and don’ts of investigating complaints and allegations
• understand the consequences of not having a fair investigation process in relation to claims for unfair dismissal.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other attendees.
