In September 2020, the Prime Minister announced plans to introduce a Lifelong Loan Entitlement (LLE) as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee. LLE will provide individuals with a loan entitlement to the equivalent of four years of post-18 education to use over their lifetime, giving people the opportunity to study, train, retrain and upskill throughout their lives to respond to changing skills needs and employment patterns. DfE is consulting Lifelong loan entitlement – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) on the introduction of LLE from 2025 and the consultation closes on 6 May.

This webinar, led by a senior DfE speaker, will include a short presentation based on the LLE public consultation and provide an opportunity to seek clarification on any aspects of the consultation and engage in a discussion.
