Description
This online conference is designed specifically around the needs and interests of college finance professionals.
Taking place on two half-days, the event will focus on a range of issues including 2022-3 budgets, managing capital projects, curriculum efficiency and much more, as follows:
• Part 1 – Wednesday 25 May, 13:30 – 16:30
• Part 2 – Thursday 26 May, 13:30 – 16:30.
The conference will provide delegates with insights to help them adapt and thrive and a time-limited space to think.
Confirmed speakers include:
• Shelagh Legrave CBE DL, DfE’s Further Education Commissioner, will explain the approach she is taking in her new role, in particular the shift in focus towards active support of colleges and early identification of problems.
• Julian Gravatt, AoC’s Deputy Chief Executive (Policy, Curriculum and Funding), will provide a round-up of current pension issues and the (limited) options for colleges in managing this issue.
• Steve Hutchinson and Meredydd David, DfE’s Deputy Further Education Commissioners, will explain how colleges might benefit from the successful CEFS pilot and how they can work with you as part of tailored active support.
• Stephanie Mason, RSM’s Partner and Head of Further Education, Skills and Academies, will provide a round-up of current issues that you should be looking at from an audit and risk perspective.
