This webinar will be led by Gary Moore who has been Headteacher at Regent High School since 2016. Regent High School is an award winning and nationally recognised Inner London mixed comprehensive school that reduced exclusions by 95% in a single year, with no exclusions being issued prior to February half term. This required a change in school culture fostered by visible leadership, implementation of strategies to reduce the frequency of incidents warranting exclusions, and embedding robust systems to address incidents that do occur.

The session will focus on providing transferable lessons to apply in various contexts to reduce exclusions and improve school-wide behaviour substantially. 

Learning outcomes will include:
• develop an understanding of behavioural work for developing responsibility
• explore advice and guidance on how to develop policies that prevent poor behaviour which lead to exclusion
• examine alternatives to exclusion within the context of a shared vision for all stakeholders.

There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other attendees.
