Technical Focus Groups are for those delivering and developing new Introductory Technical Skills components within TLTPs.

This online event will be delivered by Technical Education Advisors (TEAs) who have played a key role in designing the National Technical Outcomes (NTOs) that form the content of the introductory technical skills component.

The content for these events is either overarching for all providers delivering any route (e.g. contextualisation of English and maths), or route-specific to enable deeper investigation of specific issues.   

These online Technical Focus Groups are for any provider planning to deliver any route for the first time with the target audience being curriculum staff directly involved in developing the technical skills component of the T Level Transition Programme.

Technical Focus Group Development 1 - Introduction to Teaching on the T Level Transition Programme

To provide an introduction to the TLTP Framework for Delivery:​
• purpose and key principles​
• what students can expect​
• what providers are expected to deliver​
• the route-based project (RBP)​.

To explore the National Technical Outcomes (NTOs)​:
• background and structure​
• delivery​
• mapping to qualifications
• plan for next steps.
