Refresh your repertoires of teaching and learning strategies with this wide-ranging one day online course, which will equip you with fresh classroom ideas and materials around some key current issues in the subject. Hear about the latest developments in the delivery of RE across the Key Stages.
Presented by Ian Nicholson, this event will offer fresh classroom ideas and materials to meet the needs of teachers of RE around some key current issues in the subject, including:
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the RE Classroom
• GCSE learning ideas for interleaving curriculum content to support deeper learning
• Current thinking on KS3 Assessment + Achievement
• Building the status of the subject in your school
• Using texts to develop impactful learning in Key Stage 3 to support attainment at Key Stage 4 and beyond.
The course is designed for all teachers of RE from ECT to new and experienced subject leaders, in all kinds of school. Delegates will receive a complete package of printed course materials (including a ‘state of the nation’ RE report) and access to digital resources online. If you can only attend one RE course this year, then the ‘RE Update’ aims to meet your needs.
