Description
As the rise of generative artificial intelligence continues to prompt fascination, public debate and scaremongering in equal measure, this edition of Education Espresso webinar will ask what AI literacy means for students and graduates, and how it can be baked into curricula – beyond simply regulating students’ use of the technology.
Students don’t only need to know when it’s OK to use generative AI tools for their assessments, or how to declare when they have used them; they need to understand what those tools can and can’t do to support critical thinking and creative output, how they are being used in the workplace and the ethical principles underpinning the choice of when to use them.
Hosted by Wonkhe editor Debbie McVitty with Lorna Waddington associate professor and academic integrity lead at the University of Leeds.
