This year HEPI is hosting three fringe events at the 2025 Labour Party Conference and you are cordially invited to attend any of these, or all of them.

In common with other party conference fringe events, places will be available on a first-come, first served basis. The seminars will take place outside of the secure zone, so no conference pass is necessary.

• Event 1: 10.15am – 11.15am ‘How can universities best win back public support?‘, kindly supported by Goldsmiths, University of London, Liverpool John Moores University, Newcastle University and the University of Sussex.

• Event 2: 12pm – 1pm ‘Quality Matters: Defending and enhancing the UK’s global reputation and excellence in education’, kindly supported by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

• Event 3: 1.30pm – 2.30pm ‘What Will The Future of Higher Education Funding Mean For Students?’, kindly supported by the National Union of Students and the University of Salford.
