Description

The evidence for investing in the development of early years staff is clear. Better qualified staff help babies and young children develop and learn, with impacts that last into primary school, secondary school, and adulthood. Imagine how much more children could achieve and increase their life chances with a stronger focus on Early Year provision. Join prominent Early Years experts and DfE representatives as they explore how to improve the quality of early years provision in more detail.

During this webinar June O’Sullivan, CEO London Early Years Foundation, Sarah McPeake, EY Policy DfE, and Gareth Conyard, Education Director TDT, will discuss how Early Years’ settings can develop their staff, the National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership’s place in this, whilst reflecting on previous attempts to improve the level of qualification.

The webinar will give early years settings and school leaders planning their next steps in EY staff development a chance to:
• Learn from the innovative approach of other schools and provide fresh thinking for their next steps
• Explore how they can implement this best practice in their own setting context
• Share their own experience, have pressing questions answered by EY experts and network with peers at other schools with similar priorities and ideas.
