With Ofsted set to increase the rigour with which it inspects academies, placing more emphais on the quality of curricula, this forum will address how academies can implement quality curricula, which go beyond simply delivering minimum requirements. Delegates will review outstanding case studies of best practice in successfully implementing broad and rich primary and secondary curricula. They will also receive advice on effective curricula.
Provisional speakers include Julia Kinniburgh, Director of Accountability, Curriculum and Qualifications at the Department of Education; Joanna Hall, Deputy Director of Ofsted; and school leaders from academies that have been singled out as exemplary practitioners.
The forum is specifically designed for academy staff including headteachers, Chief Executive Officers, principals, school governors and tustees.
