Voters are sceptical the Conservative Party can reduce the cost of childcare facing families, a survey has revealed.
When asked which political party they trust to reduce childcare costs only one in 14 named the Conservatives.
In contrast more than a third said they trusted Labour to slash the childcare burden for families. In October the party published a policy paper pledging to reform childcare and early years support if it wins the next general election.
Meanwhile, only one in 20 trust the Liberal Democrats party on this issue.
