Members of the House of Lords discussed the importance of good quality early years education provision and environments, particualrly since the Covid-19 pandemic, in a debate on Thursday 30 November.

The topic was put forward by Baroness Andrews (Labour), former trustee of Kids in Museums and the National Literary Trust.

This was a general debate. During these, members put their experience to good use to explore current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
