The day nursery market ‘continued to move forward in 2023’ despite challenges, according to the latest Christie & Co report.
Demand for nursery settings remained strong in 2023, but workforce challenges, in some cases, ‘stifled’ providers’ ability to grow their businesses, a report has found.
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co's Business Outlook 2024 report looked at the themes, activity and challenges of 2023, and forecast what 2024 might bring for various industries, including the day nurseries sector.
According to the report, the demand for high-quality nursery settings nationwide, from single assets to larger groups, remained strong in 2023. ‘However, there is little doubt some of the challenges connected to the sector and the wider economy have impacted the market,’ Christie & Co said.
