Concerns that more school nurseries are achieving Ofsted ‘exceptional’ grades than PVI settings

The National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) is calling for ‘clarity and fairness’ in how Ofsted applies its new inspection framework in early years settings as its research shows a ‘stark’ divide in the number of ‘exceptional’ grades awarded to PVI settings compared to schools.
