Expanded hours lowered costs for parents of under-twos, but those with three and four-year-olds see bills rise

While new research suggests the expanded entitlement has benefited parents of under-twos in England, it has done nothing to reduce costs for parents of pre-school age children, and risks pricing disadvantaged children not eligible out of accessing early years education.
