A nursery at the centre of an E. coli outbreak has never been inspected despite its sister crèche having been criticised over dirty lavatories and children left to soil themselves.
An investigation was opened after 28 cases were confirmed at the Pear Tree Nursery in Church Street, Haddington, East Lothian. Pear Tree has two other nurseries in the town.
