Infected staff travelling between nurseries may be behind an E.coli outbreak, according to a leading expert.
Hugh Pennington, a Scottish bacteriologist who has chaired public inquiries into fatal E.coli clusters, said it was “unusual” for the bug to jump between nurseries.
