The new Prime Minister Liz Truss has appointed Kit Malthouse to her cabinet as Secretary of State for Education.
He replaces James Cleverly who has been made foreign secretary.
Mr Malthouse is the fourth politician to take office as education secretary since July, and the ninth since the Conservative Government took office in 2010.
