The DfE's Stronger Practice Hubs Covid-19 recovery programme has got underway with St Edmunds Nursery School and Children's Centre in Bradford named as the lead in the Yorkshire and Humber area.

The role will see St Edmund’s Nursery School and Children’s Centre work with four childcare and education providers to support them to improve outcomes for children across the EYFS, focusing on areas of development that research indicates has been most impacted by Covid-19 - personal social and emotional development (PSED); communication and language, and early literacy and maths.

Launched this month, the Stronger Practice Hubs programme forms part of the Department for Education’s (DfE) Covid-19 recovery package. It is being led by the NCB, with support from Education Endowment Foundation (EEF).
