The cost-of-living crisis is the most pressing issue facing British families and they are crying out for help from the government. One area in which it has previously provided help has been in the provision of school milk.
Historically, families have been able to rely on the government to subsidise milk for children through the European School Milk Scheme, but this could be under threat post-Brexit. This scheme was covered by the EU, but the UK government has yet to commit to rolling over the funding permanently in the future.
