The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) was delighted to support the WorldSkills UK Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Heroes Awards 2023, which were broadcast on Thursday 23 February. The ETF sponsored the Skills Competition Diversity Champion category, with the award going to joint winners Joanne Manship of Oldham College, and David McCay of North West Regional College.
The EDI Heroes Awards honour individuals and organisations championing diversity and inclusion within the business and technical education sectors, and offer an opportunity to celebrate those making a real difference.
Cerian Ayres, National Head of Technical Education at the ETF, presented the Skills Competition Diversity Champion award to the two deserving winners.
