The FEA Scaling Awards, supported by Credit Suisse, enable a select number of FEA members to scale impactful programmes to reach young people in England and help tackle the root causes of education inequality. The award provides Villiers Park with a two-year package of support which will help the charity build its organisational capacity, generate new delivery models to scale, expand networks, and develop leadership.
Villiers Park plans to utilise the award to expand its flagship Future Leaders Programme, which supports underrepresented young people to explore their future options, design a pathway, and develop personal attributes and employability skills needed to realise their potential. The Programme utilises a unique blend of coaching, courses and workshops and student-led projects, nurturing young people’s curiosity, resilience and creativity to inspire and equip them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
400 young people aged 14-19 will take part in the programme this year and we engage over a thousand further students through subject-specific courses, bespoke training and our new green careers project, Sustainable Futures.
