But what does the student journey look like for those considering apprenticeships? How are prospective apprentices from different backgrounds and with different characteristics able to navigate the apprenticeship journey?
In this report, UCAS explore the experience of five different groups as they progress from initial interest to starting an apprenticeship, revealing the choices and barriers students face on the journey to an apprenticeship.
