The Department for Education has announced plans to offer apprenticeships to young people alongside undergraduate degrees through UCAS.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan has announced that from autumn UCAS (the University and Colleges Admissions Services) will begin to expand its services to offer more personalised options for young people, including apprenticeships.
This means a young person will be able to view apprenticeship routes into a particular career side-by-side with relevant undergraduate degrees, so they can make an informed decision from all available options.
