The HEPI / Advance HE Student Academic Experience Survey has been running since 2006. It has gradually built up to become an unrivalled database containing millions of numbers which together reveal what student life is really like. The answers to many important policy-related questions still lie waiting to be discovered there.
In this report, London Higher conduct a deep dive into the data to reveal information about the full-time undergraduate student experience across the many diverse higher education institutions dotted all over Greater London.
The picture shows that students in London are generally having a very rewarding time – sometimes outperforming those elsewhere in the UK on key indicators. However, there are also additional challenges which governors, managers and policymakers need to bear in mind if the UK capital’s higher education institutions are to continue thriving.
