Student protesters chanted “Tory scum” and “Zahawi is a transphobe” at the education secretary as he was escorted off a university campus last week.
Video appears to show Nadhim Zahawi being ushered away by security at Warwick University. The demonstrators had played loud music, chanted and accused him of inciting hatred through his comments on transgender rights.
Members of groups including Warwick Pride, who represent students of LGBT+ background, had attempted to enter the event, with some who had tickets saying that they were turned away.
