Trinity College Dublin will increase fees for non-EU students and multi-annual postgraduate courses by between €2,000 to €5,000 over four years due to rising inflation.
The decision to increase fees by 2.33 per cent was made at a recent meeting of the College Board, with an agreement to revisit the rate after two years. The new fees will come into effect during the 2023/2024 academic year.
Most courses at the university cost between €20,000 and €27,000 for non-EU students but some can cost up to €49,500. This means some will be required to pay almost €5,000 more over the course of four years. Postgraduate fees at the college can cost up to €36,500.
