A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a university lecturer was stabbed to death at her home.
Dr Antonella Castelvedere, 52, from Brescia in Italy, was found by police on Wednesday morning last week with serious injuries at her home in Colchester, Essex.
The university academic, who was a senior English Literature lecturer at the University of Suffolk, was taken to hospital but later died.
A man was also found at the same address with injuries. He was taken to hospital and later arrested on suspicion of murder.
