A new framework which aims to support and embed employability in higher education is published today as part of Advance HE’s ‘Student Success’ series.
The Employability Framework is the first in a series of revised frameworks contained within ‘Essential Frameworks for Enhancing Student Success’, which are guidelines developed by the sector, for the sector.
Over the past two years, Advance HE has lead the progression and development of nine existing frameworks, drawing upon evidenced based peer reviewed literature, reports, working papers, case studies and evaluations. Feedback from the global sector through a range of webinars, summits and guided conversations has helped to enhance the frameworks further.
The Employability Framework shapes the direction of the Student Success series pointing to three core components that form the structure of the frameworks: the student, the educator and the institution.
