A university has unveiled the UK’s first degree for people wanting to be estate agents and it includes a module on measuring a room.
The two-year foundation course in residential estate agency is run by the Royal Agricultural University, formerly the Royal Agricultural College, in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and will begin in September.
Graduates will get an FdSc, which is equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree.
Applicants must have at least five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including in English language and maths, as well as at least one A-level or equivalent, making up 56 Ucas points. This can be achieved with a C and a D grade.
