Jo Grady has been re-elected to continue as University and College Union (UCU) general secretary, the union announced today.
The other candidates were Vicky Blake, former UCU president and University of Leeds contextual outreach lead, Ewan McGaughey, professor of law at King's College London and Saira Weiner, senior lecturer in education studies at Liverpool John Moores University.
UCU general secretary Jo Grady said: 'I want to thank every member who has voted to endorse my strategy for our union's future.
'We have achieved so much in the past five years, including further education's biggest pay award in a decade and the greatest pension win in UK trade union history.
