LSE Generate, the School’s home for entrepreneurship, has secured a prestigious sixth place ranking among Europe’s top 125 Leading Start-Up Hubs. Emerging as the top British university in-house incubator, this achievement underscores the School’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurial excellence.

The accolade, bestowed after a rigorous analysis by Statista, The Financial Times, and Sifted, places LSE Generate at the forefront of Europe’s start-up scene. Over 2000 organisations were eligible for the recognition, with each hub assessed based on alumni feedback, the track record of its successful start-ups, and recommendations by external experts.

Alumni satisfaction was the most significant factor in determining the rankings, highlighting the positive experiences and successes of graduates of LSE Generate. Alumni were given the opportunity to rate six core aspects of the hub’s programmes: mentoring and training, infrastructure, legal assistance, funding, networking, and business development advice.

Commenting on the achievement, LJ Silverman, Head of LSE Generate, said: “Ranking among Europe's top ten start-up hubs and as the top British University is a testament to LSE's commitment to entrepreneurial excellence and most importantly, our vibrant entrepreneurial community.
