Queen Mary’s Flying Start Programme, run in partnership with PwC and ICAEW, offers a fast-track accountancy degree combining academic study and paid work placements. Based in the School of Business and Management and led by Professor Ishani Chandrasekara, who was shortlisted for both a Times Higher Education Award and a QS Reimagine Award in 2024 for her leadership, the four-year programme is designed to widen access for students from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
