British Council Scotland has teamed up with the Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities to launch a new global scholarship program for researchers focusing on climate change.
The EARTH Scholarships will offer support for in-person or hybrid exchanges to Scotland for up to three-months in 2023. Applications are open for arts and humanities PhD and Early Career Researchers.
The scholarships will “generate powerful collaborations between art, humanities, and education to address the significant global issue of climate change”, according to British Council director Scotland Leigh Gibson.
“Universities and higher education institutions have a central role to play in driving innovation to help us cope with oncoming challenges – in public discourse, and in building understanding of the science,” she added.
